What does it mean when an autopsy shows marijuana in the system?
The toxic dose of THC being well above and truly what anyone could even unreasonably consume or take in, the presence of it merely indicates that the deceased had been using it at some point within a period up to a month ago, depending on the test that identified it. Thus, the presence of THC and metabolites indicating marijuana use means nothing other than that they used marijuana and is not a reasonable indicator of anything else.
