5. Your observation reminds me of people such as Dr. Ben Carson, who for all intents and purposes

has to be a highly intelligent man.

A highly educated man.

How is it possible to be both and hold the positions and opinions that he does?

I honestly dont understand it.

Now for instance, George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan were both clearly and well known unintelligent people.

Regardless of their level of education or lack thereof it is and was clear that these two men were very unremarkable as to intellect.

And yet they hold many of the same ignorant positions Dr. Carson appears to hold.

Not to mention their appalling stance on most social issues.

So McConnell dumb? Not by a long shot.

As the primary representative of the Koch Brothers in the US Senate, he is anything but dumb.
