I'd play it from Romney's right.

Fundies think Mormonism is a cult. Some of them are worried that they might end up in hell if they vote for a Mormon. And they sure as hell are not going to vote for the scary secret Muslim in the White House.

And so, its this angle that I'd promote. Most on the left don't care about some one's Religion (unless they are trying to impose it on everyone else) and true Independents generally don't care either.

But the far right Fundies absolutely care. And since all the respond to is fear, I say ... scare them. Let them worry about an eternity in hell. Maybe they'll conclude that its safer to just stay home.
