46. That "good guys with guns" notion is apparently based on...

... fantasy -- that is, the fantasy that a lot of gun owners have that they will be some kind of Rambo hero: save the day, get the girl, all that jazz. Isn't that kind of a lives-in-your-mom's-basement kind of wish-fulfillment?

Regardless, it's a stoopid thing to base national policy on.
