whales and panthers and lizards and, finally, the water and the air) are destroyed beyond repair by people just like that fucking dentist, then maybe you'll see why THE ENVIRONMENT is more important, in the long run, than the humans in it. And we should act accordingly just to save ourselves if nothing else. But we won't, because short-term wealth and power for only a few humans is worth more than a whole planetful of life.
