1. As a child, I'd NEVER heard of K2.

Then after college, my boyfriend rented the film, "K2", from Blockbuster. Wow. (Really good film, by the way - probably a 9 out of 10 stars, IMHO.)

Ever since then, I've been fascinated with the mountain. Its reputation for lethality and its isolation make it only that much more alluring to me.
