Be very careful of what you wish for. There are a lot of stupid people in this country.

I remember a sleazy politician who'd made a name for himself as Joe McCarthy's hatchet man. He was swept into office by people who hated hippies and college kids. I remember a B-actor turned corporate pitchman with a room temperature IQ and lazy disposition. He was swept in by people who liked the sound of his voice and couldn't do math. I remember a New England preppie turned fake Texan with a negative IQ and personal history that would make Caligula blush and an ongoing, untreated drinking problem who was swept in by a combination of stupid people and a corrupt Supreme Court--with a lot of help from his brother.

All those men were utter disasters in office. We're facing another election where people want a change from having that black guy in office and are surly enough about that to vote for any shithead the Republicans give them. Trump would be a complete disaster for this country.

So no. Don't even think about helping that sack of shit get the nod. You might just get what you wish for and he just might win the general election.
