3. More theory: what if Zim was roughing the kid up to scare him....

and the kid fought back? When Zim realized he was going to be on the losing end, pulled the gun and shot. I had a guy come into my office this morning and announce "Did you seeee the police photos? His nose really is BUSTED!1!! It's pushed over to the side" I see one photo where it looks a little swollen, but in the other photos taken at the same time it looks normal with a slight bruise on the bridge. Older photos of him, the nose looks the same.
