I've never felt that more strongly than I have in this 2016 election.There's something about this election that makes me nervous . Maybe it's because the stakes are so high. But I also keep having the sense that something really unexpected is going to happen.

Any one of the Republican candidates (including the more "affable", better socialized ones) represent a clear and present danger to the Republic.I tried to watch that candidate forum last night but finally had to turn it off in disgust - the contrast between Pres Obama's fluent, informed, passioned discussion about climate change yesterday and any one of those Republican morons was more than I could bear. . . where does Trump get off trying to portray anything about Obama -- either his character or his performance as "poor"? . Trump is the most overtly outrageous but, phase-out-medicare-do-nothing-on-climate-change-Jeb is really just as dangerous.
