That said, I think the issue is that this guy killed a lion wearing a collar in a conservation area, not a lion that was running around stealing chickens and mauling children.
It's a good essay--well written, very vivid. I can see his life and his perspective. He has a point.
I still feel bad for the damn lion, lured out from his easy sheltered life with dead meat, wounded and hunted for two days. Ugh.
