The word's shifted meaning for some communities, or gotten some sort of aspectual difference for the past.

"Feels like" it means "frowned upon," but more intense. Given some of the weirdness I've seen with prepositions and verbs in Southern English and its related dialects (e.g., AAVE) I'm not going to venture a guess beyond that.
