- A european city, don't remember which one, experimented with playing classical music over public speakers in the pedestrian zone. Somehow teenagers started evading that location...

- Another experiment was with a high-pitched sound like tinnitus. Young people can hear very high sounds, but as you get older, the threshold gets lower and lower. Teenagers were annoyed by the high pitch while older citizens simply couldn't hear it.
