Lynn Samuels (Sirius) died today.

37. Lynn was NO progressive

First, as a human being, I am sorry that she has died, and am particularly sad that she died alone in her apartment. As a fellow "loner", I identified with her on a personal level.

On a political level, I found her annoying and was pissed that I was paying to listen to her on "liberal" radio. I complained numerous times to SiriusXM that she did NOT belong on Left talk radio. So they finally moved her to Stars, where she belonged, with Dr. Laura. I didn't want her unemployed, just wanted her off Sirius Left.

As far as her criticism of Obama was concerned, I was fine with that. Except for the birtherism shit. That was as ridiculous as the "Trig-is-not-Sarah Palin's-baby" talk. Let's talk about how Obama caved on single payer/public option, his continuance of the Bu$h wars, but when you go the birther route, you lose me.

Combined with her creaming for Michael "Weiner" Savage, Drudge, and Beck, I was thoroughly disgusted. The fact that she did NO prep work for her show was a problem, save for cutting and pasting from Drudge.

Now, I do agree with her on one thing. If Alex Bennett did not have a penis, he, too, would be on Stars right now. This man is a joke, and is another lazy ass who does no prep for his show. He should be on right-wing radio as well. On a recent show, he actually had the nuts to say that women in the workplace are at fault for the problem of male unemployment. OK, Alex, guess we should just go back to the Leave it to Beaver days! The bimbo Cristina is a joke, as are his attempts to imitate Howard Stern, with the calls from Cristina's father and Cristina's "news" segments.

But I digress. Bennett is best left to another day, another time.
