And they realligned their 'levels of service' so that I had to upgrade from basic in order to get something other than Fox for news. I offered to trade them the dozens of sports stations that I never, ever watch in exchange for keeping better news channels. The woman I spoke with said, "Oh, honey, I sooooo agree with you! But there's no technology to offer a la carte service."

Couple months later they tried to bill me for a movie channel they "accidentally" included in my service; I called and told them that I shouldn't be billed for not watching something I didn't know I had, they quit billing me for it seeing as how they were able to remove it from the non-a la carte setup.


Yes, I know, there are other options for watching teevee, but they don't work with what I have available so don't even start, okay?
