The GOP absolutely HAS been good for business! [View all]
It's policies have given Fred Thompson "gainful" employment encouraging seniors to reverse mortgage their homes at high interest rates so they can pay for their basic needs. Fred, of course, emphasies the fact that these loans are "government insured."
It's provided a great market for those pay day type loan companies..."We'll lend you as much as $10,000 because we trust you."
It's even given the furniture rental business a boost..."Rent your couch and TV from us...this is the new economy, after all."
I could go on but you get my point.
