1. As a farewell, stirring it up, to this rock sunk thread, my stand is:

This dude sounds like a namby pamby "third way" type. If that's not enough, I'll say Jon lost me when he did the response rally to BecKKK's circus at the D.C. mall, where Jon did a why-can't-we-all-just-get-along crapfest. I knew when I saw the Mythbusters dudes there that this was supposed to be some kind of numb-your-Hippie-minds kind of thing. It crystallized Jon for me and I've seldom watched him ever since, never more than a clip.

I don't want a Faux type of choir-only approach, do not want a Lib who only tells me what I want to hear. But we are in a scorched earth political scenario, ever since LIMBOsevic made it the template, and Third Way/Moderation only means (to me) that the bad dudes WIN: We meet halfway and they will roll us over.

At the end of the interview, Mistah KURTZ said to the camera, "He still loves you, Jon," plus he offerred Jon a slot to respond. Like we can't see through *that* ploy, to get Jon on for ratings and for prestige for himself. Plus, this RUBENS dude was only with the Daily Show for two years AND now works for AOL?!1
