Bernie and his wife seem pretty much like people I would run into around my community (okay, maybe closer to St. Louis, which is about 20 minutes away!). I hope the American people see this aspect of Bernie. Surely by now everyone can see that the class of people in politics now is pretty far removed from the average citizen (okay, Obama and his family are pretty down to earth as well).

I am remembering a quote from someone who said they voted for bush because he looked like someone you could have a beer with. This was not actually true so much, but hopefully many will see that with Bernie.

I enjoyed this article because Jane looks like she wears regular clothes and sits at a desk that looks like the average American could have in their home.

Elitism has not been good for most of the people in this country (or the world). I think this election has a good chance to stop all of that.
