I think y'all in Jamaica are way better equipped to handle storms than the Keys. But hurricanes are terrifying critters.

The only answer in the Keys was basically "get the hell out!"

Which we never did.

Great book I just read called "Isaac's Storm" about the Galveston hurricane of 1900. I recommend it highly. Almost gave me PTSD reading about the surge.
