In the sense that they don't compromise their principles as opposed to the jellyfish in the Democratic Party who are only too willing to sell out Social Security and Medicare for a song and some magic beans.

Where are the hard core "leftists" keeping the Democratic Party in line like the Tea Bag crazies do in the Republican Party?

It's not "compromise" when you're always agreeing to play the tune the other side is demanding.
