Wow it's been a long time since I thought of a Walkman. Crazy.
Anyways, this is no real surprise. Politicians are about as well liked as...actually, I think just about the only thing hated more than politicians is sex offenders. I'd vote for a Ham Sandwich before virtually any Republican, and in a Republican primary I'd definitely vote for a Ham Sandwich with Mustard above anyone! 
It also says a lot about our system, and not in a good way.
