8. My kid tried the "no time"

excuse, so I moved all the extra rolls of TP to my bedroom. When the "roll in use" was gone, I left it empty and carried a personal roll with me.
It took no time at all for the plaintive cry of "Mom, where's the toilet paper?" to emanate from the loo.

"In my room", I said.
"But, mom - I need it."
"No", said I. "I'm carrying my own roll from now on, since you don't have time for it."
"But MOOOOMMMMMM! What am I supposed to do?"
"Use your hand, I guess."
"EWWWW . . ."

This went on for about five minutes. I finally agreed to provide a roll - but only if he agreed to always make sure it was properly installed.
