1. Real estate moguls aren't necessarily geniuses?

Respectfully to real estate moguls of the world, Trump had a successful business handed to him, and managed to keep it going and make money. And lose that money. And make it back. And so forth.

Making a lot of money does not make someone a genius. Doesn't mean a person has a lot of wisdom about the world.

Republicans do not seem to see it this way. They see education as valid only to the extent it prepares people to make money. They see wealth as a sign of legitimacy, and the basis for entitlement to leadership and influence.

They also like forceful personalities and belligerence.

Trump's got all those bases covered.

When he starts having to answer questions that require any kind of knowledge or understanding about the larger world, he's going to have problems.
