46. Make no mistake about the Thomas Hearings, Democrats didn't like the "optics"

Thomas should have been rejected based on his total incompetence alone, but the Republicans did an outstanding job of white guilting a lot of Dems and making us the racists somehow.

The Thomas Hearings were what really allowed Kid Diddler Rush to rise to power. The ability to tell white conservative males that the Democrat were the "real racists" and therefore making racists jokes was no long verboten on talk radio.
