31. Nothing wrong with trying to create a board out of people who are racists and insisting that

they not be. Because this is a racist country, and the people are the country, eh? The ones who let unarmed black folks get gunned down in their neighborhoods, killed in their jails, and insist we just need to go about our business, because they themselves are not the problem?

Or is it only those people over there? Are you sure it's not the folks who are celebrating our lower deficit, even though it means denying black folks jobs in the government, one of the few color blind places they can look? That's a Democratic ideal, right now.


That has a much worse, more tragic and deadly effect on millions of lives than some knothead making a racist post.

DU used to be considered a safe haven from right wing trolls. < By whom? Maybe they were wrong.

Nobody is suggesting it be tolerated. But pretending that things are different here when they really aren't isn't helping things either.
