I am not saying that racism is nonexistent. It's an awful thing to observe in the meat world. I am, however, calling foul on the OP pointing the racist epithet at DU.
Sure, there's the occasional racist post which quickly disappears. No argument there.
But looking at the list of complaints by the OP, who on DU always calls another member of DU an "angry black man for no reason"? Heck, I did a search and the only references to an "angry black man" in the past year have been directed at Obama, and usually from a conservative off-site source.
How can anyone on DU, much less all those conservatives that hang out here, look at you in any way at all, much less as "evil and not clean"? Where does that perception originate? Certainly not from the people who post here.
Without links, this is just more stirring of the stinky stick in the smelly pot.
The jury system, in general, silences over-the-top posts because the writer is rude, not because they were standing up for anyone. It's not a perfect system, and I've been caught in it in the past, but it is what it is because it tends to work in the long run.
I especially enjoyed the irony of the "new users stirring up racial crap" reference in this particular OP.
