(36,406 posts)It would have been along the lines of: 'I just struck the 500th unoriginal taxpayer who seems to think I'm their personal servant because they're taxes pay my salary. After demanding i fawn and grovel at their feet because they're just so awesome, I sat with my colleagues in the lunchroom and warned them that if they're to vent about what an arrogant pain in the arse this person is that they must NEVER do it by email because if said pain in the arse makes an FOI request pain in the arses servants would be doomed to a future of inquiries and appearances before commissions, and worst of all they will never be able to refuse to rise to their feet when meeting and greeting their millions of other employers
Btw. Totally riveting story. I'd like to think the cabbie I met who approached me with a similar level of arrogance wrote a post somewhere with some fictional high drama about how my whole world crumbled when he labelled me a bureaucrat and informed me he was my employer
