My brother bought me a Cubs cap and jacket for my fourth bday. He never did get that little brother he always wanted, but with his influence, I became one helluva tomboy.
My love for the Cubs has stuck with me for 43 years, now. I've cried, laughed, shrugged, sighed and celebrated through many, many seasons. I will do the same with this. Ricketts no more represents the Cubs than I do. He cashes and signs checks. He's not out there losing to the White Sox (really? 6-0???? WTF!), he's not out there sweating in the heat and humidity. He's an asshole, as are some players and lots of fans.
I'm not taking it out on my Cubbies. I'll take it out on the Supreme Court fucks that let this shit happen.
So, with that said GO CUBBIES
