And that he could sail into the nomination basically unopposed.

Reality happened. One of the great things about reality this time is that one of my great fears did not come to pass- President Obama gave the Republican party a helping hand out of the grave during his tenure, but after the first few (horrible) years of their zombie-ish return they seem to have died on the table again, and no amount of CPR is working.

Good. Riddance.
