I honestly could not believe her husband's *almost* unintelligible statement yesterday. His poor wife is being persecuted; she's being punished for exercising her religious freedom and she's willing to stay in jail for as long as it takes. Apparently there's a war against religion (read: Christians) in this country and they're all afraid of what the government is going to do to them.

I expect Davis will take this as far as she can and I'm sure the fundies have promised to put money in her pocket.

It's sick.
