5. Way back in the late 70's I was working at a CB radio shop in S.Arkansas

A nicely dressed black businessman type came in for some service work on his CB. I remember since we did not see that many black "businessmen" around. But anyway we were talking while I was working and he was with the U.S. Health dept doing survey work in the area. You should have heard him curse the black people and the poor white people. If you were to listen to a recording, you would swear that he was a racist KKK member. But he wasn't racist, he just could not wrap his head around the thought process of guys and girls having multiple unprotected sex partners each night. He said most had no concept of disease or what was condom was supposed to do.
Around that time South Arkansas and North Louisiana had the highest unwed mother rate in the nation. I don't remember much more of what we talked about except he had no idea of how to reach the fucking rednecks in the area. He thought that maybe it would be best to let them get disease and just die off.

I remember as a kid watching Johnny Carson and he mentioned El Dorado, Arkansas as the town with the most private jets per capita and the most unwed mothers per capita. Go Team, my hometown was famous for something.
