6 million didn't really fight as an organized unit or even small ones...only as exceptions(minor resistance and yes.."the Warsaw Ghetto uprising" was a small amount of resistance...compared to the total 6 million). This wasn't a Jewish 'error' it was a cultural and situational problem.


They were (the Jews):
...pacifistic (largely, by culture and how they were forced to live)
...oppressed(largely)
...in a stress situation (that's what the army tries to do to recruits and prisoners) ...no sleep, no safety, no time to think, always harrassed
...unable to believe people would do this
...taken by surprise
...over powered
...not helped from the outside

the 60 million (population): didn't help..why?
...Some didn't know
...some didn't want to know (i don't want to know what happens to terror suspects/jews)
...Most feared for their families (something very few Americans are familiar with(yet)...state your opinion..your kid gets tortured, or
...your wife raped in front of your eyes, or you vanish and they starve)
...most didn't believe it...repeat a large enough lie often enough...
...some didn't want to help, they believed what they were told (the enemy is bad, they will come for you and ruin your way of life (bad iraqi...oops too late....bad afghan...oops too late...bad iranian...working on it aren't we?))
