7. Let's rename Pike's Peak - since Pike never managed to climb it

And got lost during the rest of his expedition and was captured by the Spanish.

Seriously, the guy should have been called "Wrong Way Pike" and not had a mountain named for him.

The Wikipedia article says Heey-otoyoo’ is a historic name for the mountain. That's the Arapaho for ‘long mountain.’ (http://www.colorado.edu/csilw/arapahoproject/coplacenames/allnames.htm) Tava, or “sun,” is the Ute word that was given by these first people to the mountain that we now call Pikes Peak.
