(80,708 posts)Becuause while some people think that there is such a thing as a "real" religion, the fact is anything can be a deeply held religious belief. If courts are gonna start saying that people who are hired to perform certain tasks (known in the colloquial parlance as "a job"
dont actually have to do those tasks if they conflict with their deeply held religious belief, and in fact can basically make up whatever fucking rules they want because it is their deeply held religious belief, that's GREAT!
My religion says that my job has to pay me to do nothing but argue with people on the internet. It also says that anyone speaking to me on the internet is recieving divinely inspired counseling, and as such hourly fees (tax exempt, of course) apply.
