176. I look at it differently.

If it is an op that I disagree with and others do by giving it a rec. I'm interested in their reasons not in just blocking them out because they have a different view than mine. If we all agreed on every issue than there would be no need for this forum "General Discussion". No need for the exchange of ideas, no need to question, just follow whomever is in power at any given time. I'm glad that those for civil rights, women's rights, GLBT rights, labor rights and advocates of child labor laws did not take that stance.

edited to add: I have no interest in keeping a list of those that I disagree with. I do no want to risk shutting out knowledge or a different take than my own on a subject. We tried that in the 50's and it didn't work out too well.
