68. What really bothers me is that two more members who supported Bravenak

Have now been given time outs because of multiple alerts. And those three people are very well spoken, well informed DU members that contribute valuable input in discussions here. I don't hang out in the AA group but I pay attention to their posts in GD.

I really think the alert system needs to be changed so that serial alerters can be given a time out from that function. The point to DU is to have informative discussions from various points of view - that is a major difference between Republicans and Democrats. Democrats can (and should) be able to consider other views.

The people who alert on every little whim or hint of offense need to evaluate themselves and their attitude. Or stay the fuck out of DU.

I hope Skinner considers a change to the way things are done - DU has been losing our best members for several years. We need to be stronger for 2016, not weaker.
