but in my experience it is often misguided to make assumptions about a situation until all the facts are known. Currently, we have no way of knowing if this letter came from a DU member at all. Brave's identity and address can easily be determined from her postings elsewhere on the Internet, and from that, some nefarious individual could easily learn her connection to DU. From there, it would be easy to shift the blame to DU, Bernie supporters, or even to a particular member here if they wanted to.

I know of people here who have been stalked by cowards from other sites. They can kill two birds with one stone - frighten the stalkee and make DU look bad in the process.

I'm not saying that it's impossible someone from DU did this, but it's far from a certainty.
