The Day Donald Trump Got Beat Up By An Old Scottish Farmer. [View all]
I was at the Lost Coast this summer and ran into two brilliant young English PHD's hiking that murderous, beautiful trail. They told me that England couldn't believe Donald Trump was running; to them, he is a Cruella deVille/Snidely Whiplash character who behaved so boorishly to a local elderly farmer that he was tossed out of the country on his rear.
They said that Trump engaged in all sorts of dirty tricks, including buying up all the land around the farmer's property and then filling it with toxic garbage, building a giant wall to block out his light, and other unsavory tactics. When some local attorneys took up the old farmer's case, Donald was handed his rear end and shown the door.
So I looked it up -- Holy Cow:

Baxter questions Trump about his "bullying" of Scottish locals, including the aforementioned 90-year-old and Michael Forbes, a farmer who refused to sell his land to Trump. The billionaire later called Forbes "an embarrassment to Scotland" who "lives like a pig."
Also in that article:
In addition to the sit-down with Trump, Baxter was also given access to Donald Trump, Jr., who describes himself as "environmentally conscious" but quickly pivots when asked about photographs of him holding the tail of a dead elephant and standing next to his brother, Eric, cradling the carcass of a leopard during a big game hunt in Africa.
Long live Scotland.
