13. My idea spawned this memory

Of a friend in college, who, like me, wrote his senior research paper on white supremacist groups. He happened to be living in Chicago after graduation and learned there was a white supremacist rally going on with Tom Metzger (famous in the sheethead circles) speaking. It was held on private land, but it was across from a public park so he went and sat down on the bench to watch the festivities. After all the speechifying and hating (he was even asked over the PA system if he wanted to come join them; he turned them down), they started up the barbecue, at which point, my friend started laughing loudly at them. A few standing close enough to hear him asked what was so funny, and he pointed out that they were all drinking Corona Beer. He walked away laughing. I told him he should have stuck around to see how they handled the pickle he put them in - drink the beer or go without alcohol.
