once Iran had their guy Al-Malaki in the driver's seat they were never going to approve any kind of SOFA that allowed U.S. troops to stay in Iraq. Iraq was theirs now. Buh-bye U.S., and thank you very much Bush/Cheney/PNAC for all the help!
