ignores the Pope's advice, then it's soon to follow that those responsible for damaging what remains of the natural world will be free to follow suit.

Pipe dream: The Pope publicly invites various CEO's to the Vatican or, better yet, requests that he be hosted at corporate HQ.
He has a chat with CEO(s), and then publicly reports the outcome.

Give the right credit for this much: When they don't like the message, they don't care whom they trash.
