Everybody remembers the Goldwater who knocked the religious right and nobody remembers the Goldwater who suggested lobbing a bomb into the window of the Kremlin. He was just as loony as any of them. There's a reason Barry got demolished in 1964, even with two separate scandals ongoing for Johnson, and it sure as hell wasn't an accident.
