To PeaceNikki in post #45, Thor-MN in post #40, and others: you are most likely right, and I got suckered here. The woman who stated this (and it was on Facebook, which is a tool of the Devil) is attractive, kind of a flirt, and kind of a smart-ass, so I took her at her word that she used her looks to get out of a ticket.
To Mineral Man in post 23: Have women told me they used their looks or flirted their way out of a ticket? Yes, I've heard that and I'm surprised you have not. Have I heard it often? Not as often as when I was in my 20s and 30s and my female circle of friends was younger. I will add that I've also seen the reverse. Back in the early to mid 90s, there was a stretch of I-95 I commuted on every day, and an FHP officer that I got to recognize by sight that patrolled the stretch. If he had someone pulled over, the odds were that a) the one pulled over was female and b) the one pulled over was blonde.
To Control-Z in post 25: My point in posting was that I genuinely wondered how DUers would react -- would they find it funny? would they be annoyed that some can use their looks to get out of a ticket? would they see it as yet another indictment against the current state of policing. I never expected to get 44 responses -- most of which made me chuckle.
To Le Taz Hot in post 30 and many others in the thread: When virtue and modesty enlighten her charms, the lustre of a beautiful woman is brighter than the stars of heaven, and the influence of her power it is in vain to resist Akhenaton

I think that's fairly common -- nurses, firefighters -- they are seen as kindred spirits
