Stiff penalties? When they are about to commit a crime with even stiffer penalties?
That's the the first glaringly stupid problem.
GPS tags on AMMO? Tell me, just how the hell is that even possible?
Virtually every place you listed is within 500 yards of a major road or highway that have lots of traffic- you would have legally transported guns passing by them dozens, if not hundreds of times a day setting off alarms- just how are you going to deal with that?
Lastly, are you going into the future to invent this technology that allows you to have a small enough tag that doesn't use batteries that can be detected 500 yards away? Because that doesn't exist now.
Yeah, that's probably the stupidest gun control idea to come down in a long time- because it's based on technology that doesn't even exist and all a person who wants to misuse a gun has to do it take it off- so it would be 100% ineffective.
