And I say go ahead and do it if we can...but this will not solve the problem...it could help some but it could also make people who love guns and violence dig in and love it more...the forbidden fruit syndrome.
We have a social problem and until we face that fact laws and actions like this will not work the way we think they will.
And until we face the social issues with honesty we will keep floundering in our violent culture.
But frankly the outlook is pretty bleak. We keep reaching for solutions that will not work. And they don't work because we never address the underlying reasons.
Sorry to be a wet blanket.
