A very public repudiation of the whole thing will be needed, even though he likely agrees with Davis about those evil gays never getting married.

Vigano's publicity stunt has backfired, bigtime. He'll be recalled to the Vatican to spend his life in a sackcloth and ashes retirement, plotting for the day another Ratzinger comes to power.
