If we--as a country--truly trusted god, we wouldn't have a military, we wouldn't need a health care infrastructure, or a food distribution network, cars with 5-star crash ratings or fire departments. God would take care of everything for us...because we TRUSTED Him. Obviously that idea just like religious belief itself, is ignorant.
