In reply to the discussion: Epic White House Twitter FAIL on TPP [View all]jwirr
(39,215 posts)15. Unions were totally united against the TPP and they not
only influence their members but the members families and friends. Not to mention all those college students who are having trouble finding jobs, the unemployed and their families, those old enough to remember the effect of NAFTA, and any others who have damned good reasons to be against TPP.
And then those who belong to groups such as Doctors Without Borders who are worried about the rise in the cost of medications, and others that are worried about the environment and finally those who do not want the issues decided in a "world court" outside our own country.
Personally I do not think the number of people against the TPP is all that small.

I think TPP was always his end game. The few inexpensive little bones he threw us were distractions.

That's now called "reaching across the aisle" and "compromise" and sold to us as a good thing.

Well, yes, why should you trust the NYT and White House when you can find out directly?
