First of all, that there is sudden concern about "the destruction of higher education," when Democrats have been complicit for a few decades in the destruction of "lower" education.
Secondly, that the destruction is suddenly important when it's about guns, but wasn't important enough to make a priority when it has been about privatization.
That said, I certainly do not support people carrying weapons on any school campus.
I was just asked that by a local last week, who wanted to thank me for my service to students, and then asked me if anyone on our campus is allowed to carry to protect us (in the wake of the Roseburg shooting.)
Still.
We don't need armed people on our school campuses. We need less stress in our overall society, and we need less stressful school environments.
