I actually attended the 1993 Parliament in Chicago.

I attended the Kalachakra Empowerment in 1991 in NYC with H.H. the Dalai Lama. During the better part of the 1990's, I tended to travel to as many events as possible where he was speaking.

I so wish my health issues precluded me from travel now. I miss attending events like this one. You should try to attend one if possible. They are very powerful and remind us that despite all of our differences, there is a universality about the human condition that does connect us all.
