and the doing of Party business. The Democratic Party of Oregon's Platform Convention took place at the end of May, that is where elected delegates convened to construct the platform. That costs $50 and you have to be elected, it took place at the Plumbers and Pipefitter's Local 290 Training Center in Tualatin.

I have attended the Platform Convention in the past but the Summit thing I'd never bother with. Maybe if I intended to run for office, but other than that it's like other special interest conventions, full of information, liquor and whatnot....
